Purpose: To unite all women within the congregation in Christian fellowship and with Devine help and guidance to develop and understanding of the entire church, deepen spiritual life, and are encouraged to give freely of their time, talents, and treasures within the church, within the home, within the community and the wider church through various fund-raising events throughout the year.
Membership is open to all the women of Hope United Church of Christ, including family and friends. The Funeral Committee operates under the direction of this committee as does the Sunshine Committee.
The Sunshine committee sends birthday cards on their 90th birthday and beyond. They also send cards on special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, etc., to homebound members and convalescent cards and sympathy cards as the need arises. They also communicate any requests to the Pastor.
